The Belfast and Limerick fighters collide in a IBF world welterweight title eliminator
The world title eliminator showdown between Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan is being seen as "quite unusual" as two of the island's greatest boxing talents clash in their prime.
"Quite unusual, unbeaten, in their absolute prime... you don't often see that," promoter Eddie Hearn said on the fight. "To be honest with you, they've both got teams that think their man is unbeatable in this fight. Some 8,000 people will be in the SSE Arena for Saturday's fight and Hearn admits that is a serious amount of tickets to be sold for a boxing event anywhere.
He continued: "When tickets go on sale, generally, I would say 70% of tickets are sold by the fighters. This is for a standard show. And the rest are sold by the box office. "And it's very likely that Boots will choose not to fight that person because he will move to 154, or he will ask for an exemption to fight another champion, which will probably be granted.
