Yellow weather warnings for thunderstorms have been extended by the Met Office ⛈
, including Glasgow, for Sunday and Monday.
The first was in place from midday on Sunday, August 14, until 6am on Monday, August 15, while the second was due to start at 6am and last until 11.59pm.However, the yellow warning for thunderstorms is now in place from 9am until 11.59pm tomorrow, while the second is in place from midnight to 11.59pm on Monday.
"Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services."There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost".
