The three-vehicle collision occurred on the N25 at Barntown, Wexford, at around 6:30am
A young woman has sadly lost her life and a man has been hospitalised following a horrific collision involving a truck, a van and a car in Wexford .
The female driver of the car, aged in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body has been taken to University Hospital Waterford for postmortem examination.READ MORE: Woman dies fighting for life in hospital following Limerick crash The scene is currently preserved for technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators. The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal three-vehicle road traffic collision involving a truck, a van and a car, that occurred on the N25 at Barntown, Co. Wexford, this morning”.
