Stephen Kenny led St Patrick’s Athletic to an injury-time win over Dublin rivals Shamrock Rovers on Thursday, ahead of the League of Ireland’s mid-season break.
The winger joined St Patrick’s Athletic from Orlando City in January 2023, after a successful spell with Atlanta United in the MLS.
“He was playing sometimes as a left wing back and he’s not really a defender, it’s not his strongest suit defending. He’s definitely an attacker, he was playing at left wing back a bit. Mulraney and Kian Leavy were two key players for Pat’s on Thursday night and Kenny said: “In one-on-ones they definitely opened their legs and showed real speed.
“He's one of the real talents in the league, that we should appreciate, not everyone has every attribute and we mustn't look at what he doesn't have and must appreciate what he does have. “I heard somebody saying, ‘you put your subs on and you won and they scored’, but I put late subs on in the games we lost or drew with Bohs when I put one on in the 90th minute, I put one on in the 86th minute against Shels and we conceded, so sometimes you can't be certain of anything.
