A man sustained injuries after a suspected petrol bombing at a house in Limerick City on Sunday night. The injured man, who was inside the house when it was set alight, jumped from an upstairs window and suffered injuries to his back, as well as cuts and grazes.

Gardaí are investigating after a man was injured during a suspected petrol bombing of a house in Limerick City on Sunday night.

HSE paramedics transferred the injured man via ambulance from the scene to University Hospital Limerick, where he was being treated for non life-threatening injuries. Gardaí, as well as firefighters attached to the Limerick City and County Fire and Rescue Service, also responded to the scene. Nobody else was reported to have been injured in the incident.

A man was taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.”
