Social Welfare Payments to Increase in 2025The Irish government has announced increases to 29 social welfare payments in 2025. Maternity, Adoptive, Paternity, and Parent’s Benefit will see a €15 increase in their maximum weekly rate, while all other weekly payments will increase by €12. Proportional increases will apply to qualified adults and those on reduced rates. The Increase for a Qualified Child (IQC) will be renamed the Child Support Payment and its weekly rate will increase. The Domiciliary Care Allowance will rise to €360 per month, and the Carer’s Support Grant will be worth €2,000 annually.
