NASA's Center for Near Earth Object Studies (Cneos) has detected an asteroid on a trajectory towards Earth, with a potential impact in 2032. There is a 2.3% chance that this asteroid, 2024 YR4, could collide with Earth, posing a significant threat to Dublin. While the probability remains low, the impact could generate a massive tsunami if the asteroid is as large as 100 meters in diameter.
