A new report from Kantar shows Avonmore, Tayto, Cadbury's Dairy Milk, and Jacobs round out the top five Irish brands
The latest list of top Irish brands from Kantar sees Avonmore , Tayto , Cadbury's Dairy Milk and Jacobs rounding out the top five
It uses a metric known as Consumer Reach Points to measure and compare the success of brands across different markets.In the drinks category, Coca-Cola tops the list as Ireland's biggest brand - followed by Nescafé, 7up, Mi Wadi and Lucozade.Barry's Tea comes in at number six, marginally beating Lyons Tea at number seven.
"Across Ireland the number of trips made by households has continued to grow since 2022 when we saw trips down at 6%."A 1% frequency growth may sound small but in reality, that is 2.8 million more grocery trips being made".Kantar Managing Director Chris Morley says brands are holding their own despite rising costs.
