'Grave concern' for missing South Africa rugby player Sbu Nkosi weeks after being sent home from tour of Ireland
Concerns are growing for a South African rugby player who has been reported missing by his club after they did not hear from him for three weeks.
A missing-person case has been opened by local police following what the Bulls described as “the grave worry and concern of everyone at Loftus as well as the need for the expert assistance of the South African Police Services”. “We appreciate both the public and media interest in the matter, as we all share the same concerns about the player’s safety.
Nkosi was sent home early from the Bulls recent tour in Ireland after breaking team protocols by missing a meeting following a visit to a friend in Dublin and did not feature in their 31-17 defeat to Munster on October 15.
