It has been a difficult few months watching Coronation Street favourite Paul Foreman deal with the symptoms of his life-shortening condition, Motor Neurone Disease.His final episode was heartbreaking for viewers as he tragically passed away without his husband Billy by his side. He got stuck in traffic in Frescho's car park on his way to the hospital. He was able to get on the phone and he believed that he was speaking to Paul in his last moments. Billy was eventually able to arrive at the hospital and raced to get to his husband. He was left heartbroken when the doctor revealed that Paul was gone. He did get to hold Paul in his arms one last time when he went into his room.
The Coronation Street viewers couldn’t get over how the episode was put together. They would have preferred if the entire show had been dedicated to Paul, instead of going back and forth between other storylines.
