Laura Nolan , a professional dancer from Dancing With The Stars , has revealed exciting details about her upcoming wedding to Matthew MacNabb, a Love Island star. The couple, who met and fell in love while competing together on the fifth season of the RTÉ show in 2022, confirmed their relationship with a public kiss on live television during the semi-final. Matthew proposed to Laura last November, and wedding planning is now in full swing.
The couple has set their date and secured a picturesque venue, Kilkea Castle in Kildare, for their special day next year. Laura shared her excitement with RSVP Live, stating, 'We have a date and we have a venue. We have it all booked in now, so it’s all go from here.' The couple is thrilled to have the date finalized and is now focused on the intricate details of their wedding. Laura mentioned, 'Now it’s all about arranging everything – trying to find the dress, the florist, and everything else. So for now, we’re really excited to have the date down.'While Laura is a seasoned wedding dance instructor, she and Matthew are still undecided on their first dance as husband and wife. Laura explained, 'I teach a lot of first wedding dances for a lot of different couples. I’m very much part of their journey, so it’s actually a difficult one. We were talking about it and we are still undecided as to what to do – whether it’s a full production, or just do a side by side with a little here and there. We are still undecided. We have the song chosen, but we haven’t got a clue whether we are going to dance or not.' The couple's love for both Ireland and the opportunities in Los Angeles will see them splitting their time between the two locations. Laura affirmed, 'We’re based in Ireland but we’ll be going back and forth from here and Los Angeles. We have a lot of opportunities in LA as well, but we’re primarily based here, at home. We’ll be heading back out to the States in April, but coming back again in May. For the summer months anyway, we’ll be between Dublin and LA.
