More than 40% of public sector organisations are now requesting diversity data from potential employees

Almost half of public sector organisations are more likely to ask for diversity data compared to less than 20% of private sector companies.

According to the survey, 77% of professionals are happy to provide personal diversity data during the application process, while 23% are uncomfortable doing so."As organisations we should reflect the community that we serve and our customers," she said. "The more likely they are to have more creative, innovative, productive but also more likely to retain talent.""If you were asking for diversity data at the application process, make sure that it's voluntary; also give options of 'prefer not to say'," she said.
