As Friday night’s EuroMillions jackpot rolls towards an astounding €200 million, Irish players have the chance to make history with the largest jackpot prize ever seen in Ireland.
The record for the largest cheque presented in the famous Winners' Room currently stands at €175 million, when Reilly's Daybreak on Main Street, The Naul, Co. Dublin, sold the winning ticket for Ireland’s largest EuroMillions win in February 2019. Meanwhile, one Irish player was celebrating after scooping a five-figure sum in Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw.
They stand to take home an impressive prize of €38,807, but at the time of writing, have yet to come forward. National Lottery bosses are appealing for players to check their numbers carefully.
