Former Laois and Portlaoise GAA player Zach Tuohy has been unveiled as a contestant on Australia’s version of ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.’
The show is one of Australia’s most popular television programmes and is similar in format to the version which appears on Irish TV screens, hosted by Ant and Dec. He was asked what he is afraid of, replying: “Heights, spiders, gross food. Is there any of that in the show?" Tuohy’s chosen charity for the show is 'Heart Kids,' an Australian organisation that supports families of children with early onset heart disease.Tuohy holds the record number of AFL appearances for an Irish player having made his debut for Carlton in 2011 after signing an International Rookie contract two years earlier.
