Two pals were lucky to survive after as many as six shots were fired at them as they drove for their lives along Dublin’s M50
Gardai have launched an investigation after two men were shot at as they drove along Ireland’s busiest motorway.
Sources tell us the two pals were sitting in a car in the Sillogue area of Ballymun when their ordeal started at around 10.30pm. They told gardai they were then chased along the M50 to the Clonshaugh roundabout close to Dublin Airport, then onto the N32 towards Malahide. The men managed to escape their attackers in the Kinsealy area – before driving to Malahide Garda Station and abandoning their own car there and running away.
