The Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) is appealing for information after the body of a horse was discovered in a wooded area with its four legs intentionally removed.

The Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has issued an appeal for information after the body of a horse which had its four legs "intentionally removed" was discovered in Dublin .

When they arrived on the scene, the DSPCA workers spotted two skip bags, one large and one small. We cannot share the full set of images of this horrific scene as they are extremely barbaric. The manner in which this poor horse was left shows a total lack of respect and empathy for life."According to the animal charity, to place the horse in the area where it was found would likely require a vehicle of some sort, possibly a grab truck, due to the weight and size of the animal's body.
