One lucky player in Co. Meath has won the €1 million top prize in the National Lottery's New Year's Eve Millionaire Raffle. Six other players across Ireland also won €100,000 prizes.
The search is on to find Ireland 's newest millionaire after one lucky Lotto player scooped the €1 million prize on offer in The National Lottery 's special New Year’s Eve Millionaire Raffle. 8,500 prizes worth over a staggering €6.3 million were up for grabs in Tuesday's special Lotto draw. As well as the top prize of €1 million, there were 6 prizes of €100,000, 15 prizes of €10,000, 45 prizes of €5,000, 302 prizes of €1,000 and 8,131 prizes of €500 on offer.
Tickets to the special draw were limited, with only 600,000 available, and cost €25 each. It proved to be a very special New Year's Eve for one lucky Lotto player, after they nabbed the top prize of €1 million with Millionaire Raffle ticket number 46790. The National Lottery has confirmed that the €1 million-winning ticket was sold in Co Meath, with the winning store location set to be revealed tomorrow (Thursday, January 2). The Meath player isn't the only punter celebrating a life-changing win following last night's special New Year’s Eve draw, as six other players in Cork (2), Donegal (2), Kerry, and Kildare scooped the other top tier prizes of €100,000. Their winning raffle numbers were: 146954, 151605, 229993, 324384, 411505, 518351.
