The Fitting Room presenter PaddyySmyth says disabled people still face discrimination at work
The Fitting Room presenter Paddy Smyth said Irish people with disabilities are still discriminated against at work.
The 30-year-old, who has cerebral palsy, admitted things haven’t always been easy for him as regards his career. Paddy told the Irish Mirror: “Employers are uncertain of people with disabilities, especially physical ones. “I feel like employers believe they can’t discipline people with disabilities in the same way and they are less than the rest of the staff because of their appearance or if they walk differently.“People are never going to say they won’t hire you because you are disabled, but I have felt that.How to follow the Irish Mirror on social media You can like our main Facebook page here.
