JP McManus has a very strong team for this week's Cheltenham Festival
The gelding has not been seen on the track since winning a listed four-year-old hurdle race in Auteuil last May. He has since joined Willie Mullins ' powerful stable.
Brian O'Keeffe, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said: "It's the green and gold that makes us bookies nervous, and Kopeck De Mee has been a real plunge horse for JP McManus. Whether he runs in the County Hurdle or the Martin Pipe, he could deliver a knockout blow to the bookies on Friday." The handicap hurdle, run over 2 miles and 4½ furlongs, has been won by some classy horses in recent years, including Galopin Des Champs in 2021 and Banbridge 12 months later.
