Kerry Katona has admitted to 'crying her eyes out' after being reunited with her daughter Lilly last week, who surprised her mum by returning home after moving to Ireland last year
Kerry Katona had an emotional reunion with her daughter Lilly-Sue, who returned home to surprise the singer last week after moving to Ireland in 2024. Lilly, who Kerry shares with her first-husband Westlife-star Brian McFadden, visited her mum for an early celebration ahead of turning 22 this week.
Continuing that she's hoping Heidi, who she shares with second husband Mark Croft, can take a slice of Lilly's independence, Kerry explained: "I can’t believe Heidi is going to be 18, it’s crazy. I hope she’ll become more independent - I’m trying to make it clear that at 18 she needs to be making her own money and won’t be my responsibility.
Alongside Lilly and Heidi, Kerry is also mum to Molly, 23, Max, 16, and 10-year-old DJ. The former Atomic Kitten star also documented the moment on Instagram, sharing a picture of Lilly and writing: "Had the best surprise this morning when my beautiful baby girl came home @lils.mc so we went out to celebrate her the birthday 22 next week!," and followed it up with six red love heart emojis.
A third said: "She's your double," with a fourth adding: "You're the best mum Kerry an example to us all. She’s the double of you back in your Atomic Kitten days." Pal Lizzie Cundy also simply wrote: "Beautiful," along with a love heart emoji."
