It could potentially fund up to £200 towards school uniforms
With just a few weeks until the school gates swing open once more, UK mums and dads are being advised to double-check if they're in line for grants that could cover up to £200 of their kids' school uniform costs.
Yet, the amount of support varies wildly by region. Wandsworth and the City of London are leading the pack with hefty grants of £170. Across the rest of the UK, uniform grants are more uniform. In Scotland, all councils provide at least £120 for primary pupils and £160 for secondary students, while in Wales, the amounts are set at £125 and £210 respectively.
