March is just around the corner but, while it's getting slightly warmer during the day, night time will still be chilly with subzero temperatures causing patches of frost and ice
Met Eireann says the weather over the next day will be generally bright and sunny with some light rain.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Cold this morning with some frost and icy patches. Today will be mainly dry with plenty of sunshine and just a few passing light showers. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light west to northwest winds. Met.ie says: "Frost, ice, mist and fog will clear tomorrow morning. It will be a largely dry day with sunny spells, turning hazy later. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light to moderate southerly winds, freshening near Atlantic coasts.
