Irish weather forecast: Met Eireann issues two nationwide warnings as Storm Dennis looms
Met Eireann has issued the Status Yellow alerts as the country gets set to be battered by gusts as powerful as 100km/h and thundery rain.The wind warning will kick in for every county at 3am on Saturday, and will expire at 8pm that night.A Met Eireann spokesman said: "Very squally Southerly winds veering Southwesterly with mean speeds 50 to 65 km/hr gusts to around 100 km/hr, strongest on exposed coasts and hills. Winds moderating from the Northwest later.
