Irish weather forecast: Met Eireann issues Status Yellow rainfall warning for 18 counties
Met Eireann have issued a Status Yellow weather warning with up to 35mm of rain expected in some areas later on Tuesday and overnight.. All counties in Munster and Leinster will be on yellow alert.
Met Eireann's forecast reads: "Rain will spread northwards to most areas tonight, with some heavy falls developing for southern and eastern coastal counties, leading to spot flooding."Blustery easterly or variable winds for a time near southern and eastern coasts, will become light to moderate northwesterly everywhere by morning. Lows of 1C to 4C."
"Light to moderate northwest breezes, will be fresh to strong and gusty on northern and eastern coasts. Lows of 1C to 4C with some frost in places.
