Irish weather forecast: Met Eireann warns of widespread frost as temperature plunge to -1C
The cold start to the month shows no sign of stopping as temperatures are set to plunge to as low as -1C on Thursday night.
Strong winds will hit parts of the country in the evening. Temperatures as high as 11C will be recorded. "Tomorrow will start mainly dry and bright. However, rain will develop quickly from the west during the morning."Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees. Southwest winds will increase fresh to strong with the rain and will veer westerly once the rain clears."
