30 minute delays at the moment

Three miles of slow traffic and over thirty minute delays have formed along parts of the M65 following a serious collision.

Around 5pm today , two lanes along junction 6 and junction 7 were closed off. Queues as longs as three miles began forming as reports of half an hour delays were made.In and earlier statement today, National Highways said: "2 lanes are closed on the #M65 eastbound between J6 #Blackburn and J7 #Accrington due to a collision There is around 3 miles of congestion on the approach to the closure which is adding about half an hour to normal journey times.
