Neil Lennon is the favourite for the Ireland job.

Neil Lennon is the favourite for the Ireland job if Stephen Kenny is sacked according to betting site BoyleSports.

Kenny is under pressure following Ireland’s poor Euro qualifying campaign and has been tipped to be out of the job by next month. Steve Bruce and Lee Carsley are also high in the rankings for the job with BoyleSports Spokesperson Lawrence Lyons weighing in.Lyons said: “Not many will be surprised to see Stephen Kenny bid farewell to the dugout next month and the betting on his replacement has already taken a twist with the money coming for Neil Lennon over the past 48 hours.”

Lennon is currently out of work after being axed by Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia last year but is 7/2 for the job. Lee Carsley is the second favourite at 9/2 and has impressed as England U21 manager, however, it has been reported England are determined to offer the former Everton player a longer deal.6/1 Chris Hughton16/1 Graham Potter25/1 Stephen Bradley66/1 Stephen O’Donnell80/1 Andy ReidGet the latest sports headlines straight to your inbox by signing up for free email alerts.
