Thousands of people will get their Child Benefit payment, due to be paid on Tuesday the 4th of February, this week instead.

New parents with no other children will be sent a form to register for Child Benefit after they register their child's birth, or parents with existing children who welcome a new baby will automatically have their new child added to their existing Child Benefit claim and be notified when they are due to receive Child Benefit in respect of their new baby.
