It was confirmed that Patrick Kielty 's beloved mother Mary had passed away shortly after he presented last night's Late Late Show . RTE reports that the sad news was confirmed just hours after Patrick finished up hosting the Late Late Show yesterday evening.
The notice reads: "Died 8th March, 2025 peacefully at home, dearly loved wife of the late Jack, loving mother of John, Patrick and Cahal. Mother-in-law of Moya, Catherine and Nichola, devoted grandmother of Catherine, Sarah, Ciara, Milo, James, Shauna and Fionn, sister of John and the late Susan, Bridget and Margaret. Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her entire family circle, neighbours and friends. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her gentle soul.
