Emergency services are working with ScotRail following the tragic incident

ScotRail said: "Sadly, a person has been struck by a train between Partick and Hyndland. No trains can run through the area until the emergency services' work is complete." They later updated passengers, saying: "No services via Glasgow Central Low Level can go further west than Exhibition Centre. Where possible, we'll run our Balloch - Motherwell trains between Balloch & Dalmuir and Exhibition Centre & Motherwell. Update on trains via Queen St Low Level to follow."
