Stinky's Peephouse, in Brick Street, in the city centre, near the bus station, went up in flames during the early hours of Sunday, August 4. The once popular nightclub, known for hosting dance music nights, had smoke pouring out of the roof as firefighters hosed down the building from a crane.The cause of the fire is not yet known. West Yorkshire Police are investigating while a cordon remains in place. today. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
"No-one was injured in the fire and enquiries are ongoing into the matter with the fire service." West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service was also asked for a comment.
