Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has admitted he doesn't support the club despite playing over 300 games for them. The Republic of Ireland legend, who grew up supporting Tottenham Hotspur, says his results 'don't make or break' his weekend and he views them professionally. Keane played for United from 1993 to 2005 and was captain from 1997 to 2005.
Roy Keane has revealed that he is not a Manchester United fan despite playing over 300 times for the club.
He told Stick to Football, brought to you by Sky Bet: "I don’t have that affinity with the clubs I’ve played for. I don’t support Manchester United. I don’t support Nottingham Forest. Keane played 326 games for United from 1993 to 2005 and was captain of the team from 1997 to 2005. The Corkman moved to Old Trafford from Forest, who he signed for from Cobh Ramblers in 1990.
