If you were planning on doing some last-minute shopping on Sunday before taking it easy on Monday, or if you wanted to fit in your weekly food shop on the bank holiday, then you should be aware that Ireland's supermarkets will operate adjusted hours over the bank holiday weekend.From Lidl and Aldi to Tesco, Dunnes Stores and Supervalu, here are all the opening hours for major Irish supermarkets across the May Bank Holiday weekend.
Dunnes Stores Throughout the May Bank Holiday weekend, Dunnes Stores shops will open from 7am until 10pm Friday and Saturday, then on Sunday from 8am until 10pm and on Monday from 9am until 9pm. SuperValu When it comes to Supervalu, the opening hours of each store vary, but the majority will follow normal opening hours for the bank holiday weekend, opening from 8am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday and with slightly reduced hours for Sunday and Monday.
