The website for Irish women

A departure from Nick Hornby’s 1995 novel and beloved 2000 film, Hulu’s High Fidelity centers on Rob , a female record store owner in the rapidly gentrified neighborhood of Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

She revisits past relationships through music and pop culture, while trying to get over her one true love.“I ran into my ex last night. You know that scene at the end of Braveheart where they rip all his entrails out and he’s like FREEDOM, but it’s like a positive thing. You know because it inspires people or whatever,” she gleefully explains. “It’s like that but without the silver lining,”also stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph, David H. Holmes, Jake Lacy, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.

The series will debut on Hulu in North America on February 14, 2020. And while there’s no release date set in Ireland just yet, we’re hoping that it will be over here soon.
