Revolución de Cuba will be hosting an evening with a serial killer expert

A serial killer themed event will be coming to Liverpool this year, offering true crime fans an insight into the dark side of human nature.

Following two sold out nights in July, serial killer expert Cheish Merryweather will be returning to Revolución de Cuba at the Royal Albert Dock with her all new talk 'Inside The Mind Of A Serial Killer'. The two-hour event will be taking place at 7.30pm on Tuesday, October 11 and focuses on British serial killers including Dr Harold Shipman, Peter 'Yorkshire Ripper' Sutcliffe and Fred and Rose West. The talk will cover topics such as the seven stages of serial murder, four types of serial killer and how serial killers are caught.

There will also be the opportunity to take part in live interactive games on the night, with the audience able to determine who scores high on the psychopath test. The event is aimed at those aged over 18. Tickets cost £18 plus a booking fee and can be purchased via Eventbrite. NHS staff and students can pay half price at £9 a ticket. Cheish said: "This is a unique opportunity for us to get as close as possible to our mortal fears - without the terrifying inconvenience of death itself. Anybody who is fascinated by serial killers and psychopathy, this is absolutely the night out for you.
