Spain’s national forecaster AEMET issued a stark warning that "red warnings mean extreme danger" as they urged locals and tourists alike to "stay informed at all times". As the system moves northwest, heavy rainfall will likely continue in western Andalusia, the Strait area, and parts of Catalonia. On Thursday, October 31st, the focus will shift to the southern Atlantic slope, where intense and persistent rain is expected.
