Cathal Nolan from Ireland's Weather Channel has shared his exciting forecasts with us for the next few weeks - while things might remain overcast and showery now, sunshine is on the way
A weather expert has pinpointed when summer might finally arrive as he predicts heatwave conditions could be on the horizon.
"I think the east, the southeast and the midlands will probably hold dry, but it will still be milder than average, so temperatures will be up around the high teens at that stage." "It's brought in some very cold air for this time of year so for the past couple of weeks, the temperatures have been two, three degrees below average for the time of year. We've even seen some light frosts in parts of the midlands into June, so quite unusual conditions to see."
