In 2020, Mary's Tobin's life took a sudden, devastating turn when she received the diagnosis that no one ever wants to hear, that she had breast cancer.In that moment, everything she knew was thrown into chaos. Thoughts raced through her mind: "Am I going to live? Has it spread?" Amidst the fear and uncertainty, her thoughts turned to her beautiful children and her loving husband.They became her anchor, her reason to fight.
Cancer took a toll on her body, stripping away her hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows. Her body ached, and yet, she persisted. She said: "You hear them say stage 4 not curable and you think well this is it… there is no stage 5." Her battle gear is on, and she is prepared to take on the biggest fight of her life once again. This time, the fight is not just about survival; it was about savouring precious moments, creating memories, and witnessing her loved ones achieve their dreams.
