A woman in her 50s was hospitalized after being involved in a hit-and-run collision in Cork on Wednesday afternoon. The two-vehicle incident occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Mount Agnes Road in Cork City. One of the drivers, who fled the scene, is currently being sought by Gardaí. The female driver of the other vehicle was transported to Cork University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed that Mount Agnes Road has been reopened to traffic and that investigations into the collision are ongoing
