A yoga teacher is believed to be one of two adults fighting for their lives in hospital after she tried to save children during the Southport stabbing.
Follow live updates from the scene today here Two children have died in the knife attack. Nine other children were injured, six of them critically. Leanne is reportedly one of two adults who were also in a critical condition in hospital. Hundreds of people responded to the post, which was also shared on X, to offer their thoughts and prayers. One person said: "I really hope she makes a full and healthy recovery."
Sara Ashby added: "Leanne taught my son at Churchtown Primary and he loved her, she was amazing with him and is such a lovely woman. We will be praying for all the victims and sending healing vibes xx"
