Day One of Cheltenham had plenty of thrills and spills but one punter struck it rich.
A Cheltenham bookmaker was left cashless after one punter struck it rich on the opening day of the 2025 Festival after backing the unlikeliest placepot.
For his efforts, he scooped an incredible £55,253 , while the Tote Racing bookmaker shared that their till was left cashless. “You think of the first word that comes into your head and it would probably be the same as mine. I don’t know, what can you say?" Henderson said.
