IKEA Ireland and Tesco have partnered to expand IKEA's 'Click and Collect' service to seven new Tesco store locations, bringing the total number to 21 across Ireland. Customers can now collect their IKEA orders for free on orders over €200, or for a €15 fee on orders under €200.
IKEA has confirmed the launch of seven new ‘Click and Collect’ sites, situated within select Tesco stores. These seven new locations will be spread across Tesco stores in six counties: Louth, Westmeath, Kerry, Wicklow, Mayo, and Dublin. Customers will now be able to collect their IKEA order for free on orders exceeding €200, while orders below €200 will incur a €15 charge.
This expansion brings the total number of IKEA ‘Click and Collect’ sites at Tesco across Ireland to 21, making it more convenient than ever for customers to shop at the superstore, even if they don't live near a flagship IKEA store. When placing an order online, customers will proceed through the usual checkout process and select the collection service for their local Tesco. Upon arrival at their chosen date and time, customers will follow signage within the Tesco car parks to a designated pick-up point. There, they will meet with a delivery driver who will hand over their order.Existing ‘Click and Collect’ Site Locations Speaking about the new offering, Jayne Owen-Gauld, IKEA Market Manager in Ireland, stated, 'We're incredibly proud of our partnership with Tesco Ireland, which has enabled us to bring convenient and affordable collection services, including our highly successful ‘Click and Collect’ option, to customers across key locations. The positive reception has been fantastic, leading to the expansion of the service to seven more communities. Combined with our free delivery option for orders over €200, we're making shopping with us easier and more rewarding than ever.'
