Mairead Cregan, 62, suffered bruising after the vicious pair dragged her from her vehicle
A terrified grandmother who was punched during a carjacking has told how she thought the attack was a prank. The legal secretary said: “It was pretty terrifying. I was in shock and I’m still a bit shaky. At first I thought it was someone I knew playing a prank.”
“He probably thought I was stalling and he dragged me out of it and I started to scream for all of Ireland.” “I put up my hand up to save my face but my hand must have snapped with the force of the blow and slapped into my chest and I’m aching there as well.”She told LMFM Radio: “Guards were cruising the area looking for this pair anyway and they were there in seconds.”She said: “Thank God I was there before her and she was late because she’s heavily pregnant.”Our Irish Mirror Sports Page - which brings you all your Irish and UK sports news - can be found here.
