Santa will have no problems delivering presents on Christmas Eve as the weather will be settled and mild over the course of the night - with a few showers expected on Christmas Day
It's good news as Met Eireann have confirmed that Santa will be visiting in the midst 'favourable conditions' on Christmas Eve.
It will make for a smooth journey for Santa Claus and anyone heading to visit family on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Christmas Eve Tomorrow, Tuesday, will continue mostly cloudy, but it'll be largely dry with just a little patchy light rain and drizzle here and there. There'll be some mist and hill and coastal fog too, for a time. Mild for the time of year with highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees in mostly moderate southwest winds, a little fresher in coastal parts of the northwest. Tuesday night, Christmas Eve, will bring very favourable conditions for Santa's visit around Ireland.
