Spring is just one day away and it looks like the weather will brighten up and even be milder than average as we move in March - Met Eireann have shared their predictions for the coming weeks
Saturday marks a new month as we go into March, and weather conditions are set to improve as spring will officially be upon us.
"The second week of the outlook period also sees low pressure dominating with temperatures still running above normal for the time of year. Winds will be mainly westerly and there will be spells of rain at times." For their overview for the coming days, Met Eireann have said: "A rather settled beginning to meteorological Spring, with just occasional light rain or drizzle mainly in parts of the west and north."Today A cold start today with frost, ice, mist and any fog clearing through the morning. It will be a largely dry day with just isolated showers and plenty of sunshine, that'll turn hazy through the afternoon as cloud increases from the west.
Sunday 2nd March Mist and fog will gradually clear Sunday morning leaving a generally dry day with some sunny spells and just the chance of isolated showers. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees with light to moderate southwest winds, fresh at times near Atlantic coasts. Becoming cloudier overnight, with some patchy light rain or drizzle developing in the west and north.
