The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was arrested under road traffic legislation and later released without charge.

Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident involving a car and a motorcycle, which occurred shortly before 8pm on the North Strand, Dublin 3. The male motorcyclist, aged in his 40s, was brought to the Mater Misericordiae Hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non life-threatening. There were no other reports of injuries.
The driver of the car, a woman aged in her 20s, was arrested under road traffic legislation.
