On Sunday night, Olympic gymnast Rhys McClenaghan and his pro dance partner Laura Nolan lifted the glitterball trophy.
More than half a million people tuned in for the final of Dancing With The Stars – and just two people complained to RTE about the result.
RTE revealed that an average of 529,500 people watched the finale, while just two gave the show some negative feedback afterwards. “On RTÉ Player there have been over half a million streams for Series 8 to date. Last year the series had over 462,000 streams on RTÉ Player for the seventh series, so viewing is up over 116,000 streams - an increase of 25% year on year.
