The promise is part of the opposition party's €1.3billion alternative health budget
Sinn Féin have proposed an alternative health budget that would see an extra €1.3billion invested in the health service next year.
The party is expected to top the polls after the next election and so is the most likely of all parties to be in government next time around. At a briefing for journalists, the Waterford TD outlined his party’s multi-year plan to fix the health service, which would start with a 'Year 1' investment of €1.3billion in capacity, workforce training and cutting the cost of healthcare.
