Passengers aboard a Ryanair flight from Ireland to Spain were met with dramatic scenes upon landing when Spanish police stormed the plane to remove an "unruly" passenger.

The incident happened on a flight from Cork to Tenerife yesterday, February 25. Ryanair have said that the passenger became disruptive during the journey, prompting the crew to request police before arrival. A Ryanair spokesperson confirmed the incident to Cork Beo, saying: "The crew of this flight from Cork to Tenerife called ahead for police assistance after a passenger became disruptive onboard. The aircraft was met by local police upon arrival at Tenerife Airport and this passenger was removed."
