The pressure kids aged 10 to 16 experienced at the time was just ridiculous. It was so claustrophobic and depressing. When that’s your world, it can quickly close in on you as you’re not experiencing life, other opportunities or maturing as a person. Getting off to a great start can help, as Shelbourne proved last year. It’s the justification the group needs to prove they are good enough to be where they are. Shels managed that pressure for the whole year and it fed into their belief that they would win a league title - and they did.

I mean that in a positive way, like if you say something about the league, be prepared to get it back. You won’t be let away with anything if you treat the game here with disrespect, and that’s on all of us.
